4 common steps for strength until deliverance


Certain times of life are so difficult that some believers are forced to forget God. Unknowingly, that leads to unbelief. Reading the Word of God becomes impossible. Prayer is either completed speedily or skipped. It would seem that the situations of a person determines their relationship with God. In reality, the relationship of each person with God determines their situations. One who continues believing God at all times successfully overcomes challenges. The initial difficulties will move with constant prayer. Such people are honored by the Lord using miracles that later become testimonies which glorify God.

Following are four common steps believers opt in times of trouble.

1. Fellowship praying

A church or prayer fellowship that is obedient to Holy Spirit will be matured in assisting believers that are facing trials in life. Praying together with fellow believers without judging each other is not only a great relief but also a way for God to take action on the prayer. The point is to pray in unity. Believers should be united and should pray as well. It is written in Matthew 18: 19, "Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." Intercessory prayers of church brings about miracles if submissive to the Lord.

2. Fasting

Matthew 6:16-18 and Isaiah 58: 3-7 gives insights regarding fasting. It seems impossible to fast at first. When believers focus on the Holy Bible in prayer, fasting becomes favorite habit. This is because fasting is all about being in the presence of God. When believers are with God, they are taken care of in every manner. Moses, Mordecai and his people, Nehemiah, Daniel, David and Jesus are people who fasted. All of them experienced miracles. Greatest of fasting  could be considered as that which occurred in Nineveh. (Jonah 3:6-10) The King and people fasted shedding away all their evil. Merciful God decided not to destroy them seeing their repentance. 

3. Prayer on knees

There is value in praying on knees according to the Holy Bible. Most people avoid praying on their knees due to health conditions. Those that can take efforts to bow and knee for prayer will see miracles; even healing their health conditions that prevent from kneeling. The verses Daniel 6:10, Isaiah 45:23, Psalms 95:6, Acts 9:40, Ephesians 3:14 from the Holy Bible reveals the power of praying on knees. 

4. Whole night prayer

Jesus prayed during night time at Gethsemane before His crucifixion. An angel from heaven came and strengthened Jesus. (Luke 22:43) Readers may understand from this the value of praying in the night. God sees the sacrifice one does for praying earnestly while the rest of the region stays asleep. 

The Lord shows compassion on all who take extra efforts to draw closer to God. The Lord knows all who draw closer to Him with sincere intentions. God shows patience to those that want Him only for their selfish desires. Remaining strong in times of trouble is tough but worthy. Love of Christ

The way to securing eternity  " Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “The one I will kiss is the man.
